- 1 lb boneless pork chops, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tbsp ginger, minced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water (slurry)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Cooked rice, for serving
Instructions
- Prepare the Pork: Heat 1 tbsp of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the pork, season with salt and pepper, and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- Cook the Vegetables: In the same skillet, heat the remaining 1 tbsp of oil. Add the bell pepper, onion, and broccoli, and stir-fry for 3-5 minutes until slightly softened.
- Add Aromatics: Stir in the garlic and ginger, cooking for another minute until fragrant.
- Combine Ingredients: Return the pork to the skillet. Add the soy sauce and oyster sauce, stirring to coat evenly.
- Thicken the Sauce: Pour the cornstarch slurry into the skillet, stirring constantly until the sauce thickens and evenly coats the pork and vegetables.
- Serve: Serve the stir-fry hot over a bed of cooked rice. Optionally, garnish with green onions or sesame seeds.
