Description

This Pork Chop Stir Fry is a quick and nutritious meal perfect for busy weeknights. Tender slices of pork are stir-fried with vibrant vegetables like bell peppers, onions, and broccoli, all coated in a savory soy-based sauce. Served over rice, it’s a balanced dish that’s both satisfying and versatile.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb boneless pork chops, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water (slurry)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Cooked rice, for serving

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Pork: Heat 1 tbsp of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the pork, season with salt and pepper, and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  2. Cook the Vegetables: In the same skillet, heat the remaining 1 tbsp of oil. Add the bell pepper, onion, and broccoli, and stir-fry for 3-5 minutes until slightly softened.
  3. Add Aromatics: Stir in the garlic and ginger, cooking for another minute until fragrant.
  4. Combine Ingredients: Return the pork to the skillet. Add the soy sauce and oyster sauce, stirring to coat evenly.
  5. Thicken the Sauce: Pour the cornstarch slurry into the skillet, stirring constantly until the sauce thickens and evenly coats the pork and vegetables.
  6. Serve: Serve the stir-fry hot over a bed of cooked rice. Optionally, garnish with green onions or sesame seeds.
