    • 1/2 cup green beans
  • For Frying and Garnish:
    • 1 cup vegetable oil
    • 1 lemon, cut into wedges
    • Fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Batter:
    In a medium bowl, combine flour, cornmeal, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and baking powder. Gradually add water, stirring until the mixture forms a smooth batter.
  2. Heat the Oil:
    Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until hot (approximately 350–375°F).
  3. Coat and Fry:
    Dip shrimp and vegetables into the batter, ensuring an even coating. Fry in batches, cooking each piece for 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy. Avoid overcrowding the pan.
  4. Drain and Garnish:
    Remove fried items with a slotted spoon and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil. Garnish with lemon wedges and parsley.
